Undergraduate Life

It is hardly the business of this Guide to venture advice on other aspects of your life in Cambridge . The Department acknowledges that falling in love is probably more important, in the long run, than ASNC; but we urge caution. The Department is also prepared to recognise that active or passive participation in sport, drama, music, etc., will contribute much to the quality of your life; but we urge moderation. From most other things, which shall remain nameless, we recommend abstinence!

Life after ASNC

We are reliably informed that there is life after ASNC. Senior members will be delighted to discuss prospects and possibilities, at any time, and may well be able to offer constructive advice if you are contemplating further study as a graduate student, whether a one-year MPhil, for its own sake, or a one-year MPhil with the prospect of its leading into a three-year PhD. For professional career guidance, follow the link from the Departmental website to the University of Cambridge Careers Service . You will find that former ASNCs have found gainful employment in a very wide variety of occupations.
