Dissertation (compulsory)
The regulations for the dissertation are the same as the regulations for the dissertation in Part I. The dissertation must be on a topic which falls within the scope of one or more of ASNC Tripos Part I Papers 1-10 and ASNC Tripos Part II Papers 1-12.

New regulations for Dissertations (active from October 2008)
New word lengths for Undergraduate Dissertations:
- Part I dissertations should be between 7,000 and 10,000 words
- Part II dissertations sohuld be between 9,000 and 12,000 words.
