A seminar hosted by the Department will be held on the general theme of ‘Communication and Cultural Contacts in the North Atlantic Community’ focussing on commerce and the economy, on Saturday, 2 March 2013, in The Dirac Room, Fisher Building, St John’s College. Contributors will include Dr Colmán Etchingham, National University of Ireland, Maynooth, Andy Woods, University of Cambridge; Dr Alex Woolf, University of St Andrews, Professor Helgi Þorláksson, University of Iceland, as well as Dr Máire Ní Mhaonaigh and Dr Elizabeth Ashman Rowe of the Department.
