- Teaching Modern Icelandic language: beginners and intermediate
Brynja is a PhD candidate at the Department of Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic, University of Cambridge. She is working on emotions in Old Norse literature. She is from Reykjavík, Iceland.
Brynja studied Social Anthropology and Comparative Literature at the University of Iceland. She worked as a journalist for the Icelandic National Broadcasting Service (RUV) for ten years, and co-authored a book on the Icelandic language that was published in 2014 (Orðbragð). She completed her MA in 2015 in Comparative Literature, from the University of Iceland. She began her PhD studies at ASNC in 2016.
