Congratulations to Emma Knowles, recent PhD student in the Department, who has been appointed as Associate Lecturer in English at the University of Sydney, for eighteen months.

Congratulations to Dr Rebecca Thomas, who has been appointed to a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship at Bangor University, starting September 2019.

The Department of Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic is delighted to announce the appointment of two new lecturers, joining us from 1 September: Dr Rory Naismith (The History of England Before the Norman Conquest) and Dr Erik Niblaeus (Manuscript Studies). The warmest of welcomes to them both!
