At the ISAS conference in Dublin (29th July – 2nd August 2013), it was announced that Dr Rory Naismith’s book, ‘Money and Power in Anglo-Saxon England: the Southern English Kingdoms 757-865’ (Cambridge: CUP, 2012), has been awarded the ISAS prize for Best First Book 2011-12.
