Languages, Myths and Finds

The AHRC has awarded a £60,000 collaborative training grant for PhD students and Early-Career Researchers in Old Norse-Icelandic and Viking Studies for 2013-14 to a consortium made up of the Universities of Nottingham, Cambridge and Oxford and the British Museum. The project, Languages, Myths and Finds: Translating Norse and Viking Cultures for the 21st Century, will be linked to the British Museum’s Viking exhibition opening in March 2014. Dr Judy Quinn and Dr Elizabeth Ashman Rowe will be working with colleagues from partner institutions in developing the training project.
