All ASNaCs past and present are very warmly invited to this year’s Alumni Reception in the Department (Saturday 28 September, 5.00 till 7.00 p.m.). It will include a short talk by Dr Becky Shercliff about the Department’s new online outreach resources for schools.

Regretfully, owing to the ongoing industrial action, this year’s Chadwick Lecture due to be given by Prof. Greg Toner next Thursday, 15 March has been cancelled.

From 13th – 17th August, the Department will be hosting its annual Sutton Trust Summer School in Anglo-Saxon, Norse & Celtic. The Summer School is held in association with the Sutton Trust, a philanthropic organisation which seeks to promote social mobility through education.
