Dissertation Title:
The Liturgical Book in Medieval Iceland c.1000-1550
Biographical Information
My doctoral research examines the use of liturgical books in Medieval Iceland, with a specific focus on manuscript fragments and books for the divine office. This work builds upon my master’s thesis, which examined the antiquarian Árni Magnússon's manipulation and attitude towards Latin liturgy through a case study: AM 241 b I fol. I am very grateful to the OOC AHRC DTP and Trinity Hall for funding my doctoral research. I am also an honorary Cambridge Trust Vice-Chancellor's scholar. Before my PhD, I completed my BA (first-class honours, 2023) and MPhil (with distinction, 2024) in ASNC. My pronouns are she/her.
I supervise undergraduate students in Part I Paper 10 (Palaeography and Codicology) of the ASNC Tripos.
