Congratulations to Máire Ní Mhaonaigh who has been elected as an Honorary Member of the Royal Irish Academy in recognition of her scholarship and academic achievements. Membership of the Royal Irish Academy ‘is awarded to people who have attained the highest distinction by their unique contributions to education and research’. She will be admitted into the Academy at a special ceremony on Friday 26th May at which she will sign the historic members’ Roll Book which has been going since 1802.
