The Sutton Hoo helmet, made in the early seventh century (taken from www.britishmuseum.org/explore/highlights/ with permission from the British Museum' ). The helmet formed part of the funeral deposit in Mound 1 at Sutton Hoo, in the Kingdom of the East Angles.
